The current FBI announced recently that Joe Biden’s FBI killed an investigation into Chinese interference in the 2020 presidential election.
Some have suggested that an internally distributed report on the investigation—never released to the public—was yanked only because findings could not be confirmed. But the Daily Mail has reported that in upcoming congressional testimony, FBI Director Kash Patel (shown above) will detail “how FBI headquarters ‘recalled’ a report solely because it contradicted Wray’s claims under oath to Congress that China was not conducting a foreign influence campaign in U.S. elections” (“Kash Patel uncovers proof former FBI bosses buried evidence that China interfered in 2020 election as he vows to take action,” Daily Mail, June 24, 2025).
FBI bosses at the time shut down this legitimate investigation into the Chinese Communist Party to shield [then–FBI Director Christopher Wray] from fallout, sources tell the Daily Mail.
The FBI was investigating at the time the existence of CCP-produced drivers licenses to obtain paper ballots, and the Albany office published an IRR [internal intelligence report] on the claims.
They were then told by headquarters to pull the report and pretend it didn’t exist, Patel will reveal.
The current Director will tell Congress that the reason the IRR on this investigation was never released was because they admitted that ‘the reporting will contradict Director Wray’s testimony.’…
Patel vows that there will be accountability for those who tried to bury the report and continue pushing claims that there was no legitimate evidence that the CCP was conducting a foreign influence campaign on the 2020 presidential election….
A person familiar with the uncovered investigation says that the CCP used their access to TikTok social media accounts to create a slew of fake drivers licenses in efforts to apply for and obtain swatch of fraudulent ballots in the 2020 presidential election.
Add this to the list of bad things done by or enabled by CCP-controlled TikTok.
Patel contends that in September 2020, Director Wray lied to Congress when he asserted that “we have not seen, historically, any kind of coordinated national voter fraud effort in a major election, whether it’s by mail or otherwise.”
Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino have issued a statement charging that “previous FBI leadership chose to play politics and withhold key information from the American people—[engaging in] the weaponization of law enforcement for political purposes during the height of the 2020 election season.”
The bracketed text is my correction of the use of the word “exposing” in the statement: “exposing the weaponization….” No, previous FBI leadership did not expose their weaponization of law enforcement by secretly withholding the report. If the accusation is justified, it’s the current FBI leadership that is doing the exposing.
