That is one way to fight the Chinese Communist Party. Don’t belong to it anymore.
Vision Times presents statements, excerpted below, of several persons who have quit the Party and are willing to formally renounce it. Since 2004, the Tuidang movement has been encouraging members or former members of the Party “to renounce their oaths made to lay down their lives for communism when they joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) or its affiliated youth organizations” (“Statements from the Tuidang Movement, February 2025,” March 5, 2025).
A Tuidang site estimates that those who have quit the Party over the years number some 426 million. “Tuidang” means something like “quit the party.”
The number of defectors must be difficult or impossible to estimate with any precision, so I’m not too confident about the number given. The CCP itself reportedly has around 100 million members. A 2006 report by Phayul asserts that as of that date, “over eleven million people have withdrawn from the CCP.” Whatever the actual number of renegades to date, it can only be improved upon.
Yao Dahai. “I am a demobilized member of the military who once joined the atheist organizations of the Chinese Communist Party, its Youth League, and Young Pioneers. Under the CCP’s family planning policy, I was stripped of my Party membership for having a second child. Today I completely renounce my involvement in the CCP’s atheist malign organizations, clear the mark of the beast that comes with them, and welcome a bright future under the grace of gods and Buddhas.”
Liu Shu. “I was born in the 1990s and wore the red scarf for six years in elementary school, participating in the CCP’s flag-raising ceremonies. I have come to realize that the Communist Party is doomed for destruction, and regret my earlier affiliation with it. Hence, I hereby declare my withdrawal from the CCP’s evil cult organization [the Young Pioneers]….
“Back in 2014, I came across a physical book on the street exposing the CCP’s persecution and live organ harvesting…. The CCP’s crimes are beyond redemption. If it is not brought down, there is no justice in the heavens! I urge my fellow Chinese people not to believe in the CCP. They offer nothing but lies and violence. Let us return to faith, return to kindness, and live with true dignity.”
Wu Weije. “I was once a member of the Chinese Communist Party, the Communist Youth League, and the Young Pioneers. During the pandemic, I was suppressed by the CCP for speaking the truth online. Now, I have come to see the true evil nature of the CCP and have decided to withdraw from all its organizations, severing all my connections with the Communist Party once and for all.”
Xin Wang. “The CCP has never changed its thuggish ways, using lies to deceive the people of China and the world. It has slaughtered countless Chinese and other people around the world, and has never offered any apology to the people. It is pure evil. I withdraw from the CCP’s Young Pioneers organization.”
Ah Ying and Ah Qiang. “The Communist Party is the most poisonous virus in the world. Through its countless political campaigns it has forced the Chinese people to abandon traditional virtues such as benevolence, righteousness, propriety, integrity, and kindness. Instead, it instills its corrupt Communist Party culture of deceit, malice, and struggle as the behavioral norm, leading to the severe moral decay of Chinese society today. The CCP has committed countless crimes and is the root of all evil.
“During our school years, we were deceived and brainwashed into wearing the red scarf and joining the Communist Youth League. Today, we solemnly declare our withdrawal and completely sever ties with this Communist regime. We believe the future will be bright and full of hope.”
Li Qingshu. “I refuse to be associated with this demonic organization and hereby withdraw from the Young Pioneers. I also call on anti-communist individuals worldwide to unite and completely eradicate this evil regime!”
